Cancun Airport Terminals Information
Thank you for traveling to or from the Cancun International Airport. We provide all the comforts and conveniences you need and want when traveling. Below you will find information to help you to navigate the airport whether you are just arriving or are on your way home.
Airport Terminals and Shuttle Service
Cancun International Airport offers 4 separate terminals connected internally via a complimentary shuttle service. Please note that transportation options to hotels or destinations are available on our Transportation page.
- Terminal 1 - Terminal 1 is an FBO(Fixed Based Operator). Here you will find private flights only.
- Terminal 2 - International and National Flights
- Terminal 3 - International Flights
- Terminal 4 - International Flights
We recommend you double-check your flight information and departure terminal so that you arrive at your departure terminal with plenty of time to check-in.

Terminals 2, 3, and 4 at the Cancun International Airport offer the following conveniences:

Terminal Conectivity
The Cancun International Airport offers a complimentary shuttle service to move between the four terminals should you need to move from one to the other with or without your luggage. This shuttle is only for moving from one terminal to another. If you need transportation to your hotel or destination please visit our Transportation page for more information.
- Shuttle boarding is available in all terminals, there are information modules if you have questions.
- Please consider your flight times, as the wait for a shuttle can be up to 20 minutes.
- The shuttle has air conditioning as well as ramps for those who have special needs.
Airport Parking
Terminals 2, 3, and 4 at Cancun International Airport have parking facilities for a fee of approximately $2.00 per hour. It is convenient when picking up or dropping off friends or family members. When you arrive at the parking area you will get a ticket from the machine. Please hold on to this ticket. When you depart the airport you will need to pay the parking fee inside the terminal prior to getting in your car to leave.
Airport Lounges
Take advantage of the VIP Lounge by Mera when waiting for your flight. With lounges located in Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and Terminal 4, you will find comfort and convenience while you wait for your flight to depart.
Cancun Airport WIFI Information
We are happy to provide our travelers with wireless internet connection (wi-fi) service in all of the terminals at the Cancun Airport. This service is provided by Prodigy Mobile.

Money Exchange
The Cancun Airport has Money Exchange locations in Terminals 2, 3 and 4. These locations are where you can change the currency you brought with you into Mexican Pesos. While many places in Cancun and the Riviera Maya accept US dollars this is not always the case. So it's always a good idea to carry some amount of the local currency.
