Reports show that Cancun and other beach destinations such as Aruba, Greece, and Bali remain popular due to their fantastic climates and access to tourist attractions. However, what's particularly interesting is the increased American visits, making Cancun a home away from home for many.

The top destinations worldwide are:

5. Cancun, Mexico: recognized for its beaches and as an ideal year-round destination.

In the first quarter of 2024, 15.9 million Americans traveled abroad, an all-time high that reflects a significant recovery in global tourism.
